Mainly utilized as cutting instruments, moves, shear razor sharp edges, cold pilger mandrels, cold stamping devices, molds for plastics handling.
AISI A2 is equivalent of DIN 2363 provides high hardness after heat treatment with good dimensional stability. It is heat treatable and will offer hardness in the range 53-63 HRC.
